Why we run
A run for every mind in BTR
Saturday 10 October 2026 is World Mental Health Day. Run for the Mind is BTR’s way of marking it: neighbours, families, students and health professionals covering the same 5K together, each at the pace that suits them.
It’s a run, but it’s also a conversation. Along the route and at the finish you’ll find awareness booths and expert talks, because looking after your mind should be as normal as looking after your body. Proceeds from every entry go towards mental-health awareness work in BTR.
-
Move
Get moving together
Regular movement is one of the most reliable things we can do for our mood. 5K is enough to feel it and short enough for anyone.
-
Talk
Make it normal to ask
Booths and talks on the day make it easy to ask questions, learn the signs, and find out where to get help.
-
Support
Fund what comes next
Your entry fee supports mental-health awareness in BTR long after race day.
The run
One distance. Your pace.
-
01

FAQ
Good questions
Can I walk the 5K instead of running?
Yes. There’s one distance and you can run it or walk it. Walkers are welcome, and every finisher gets the same medal and certificate.
Is there an age limit?
No. The run is for all ages. Under-18s take part with a parent or guardian’s consent (that’s part of the declaration on the form), and young children should be accompanied on the route.
How do I pay the entry fee?
Right after you register you’re taken to a secure Razorpay page where you can pay by UPI, card, net banking or wallet. The same link is in your confirmation email if you want to pay later. Your place is confirmed the moment the payment goes through.
Payment is collected offline. After you register we’ll send you payment instructions by email or WhatsApp. Your place is confirmed once we receive your payment.
I didn’t get a confirmation email. What now?
Check your spam or promotions folder first. If it isn’t there, write to us with your name and mobile number and we’ll resend it. Your registration is saved either way.
When do I get my bib and T-shirt?
Kit collection details (date, time and place) are sent to registered participants before the run. Bring your registration reference and a photo ID.
Is the run timed?
It’s a community run, not a race, so there are no timing chips or rankings. Everyone who finishes gets a medal and a certificate.
What should I bring?
Comfortable shoes, your bib, a cap and sunscreen. Water is provided on the route and at the finish. Please arrive about 45 minutes before flag-off.
What if it rains? Can I get a refund?
The run goes ahead rain or shine unless conditions are unsafe, in which case we’ll update you by email and Instagram. The entry fee is a contribution to mental-health awareness in BTR and is non-refundable. If you can’t make it, write to us and we’ll do our best to transfer your place to someone else.
